Safflower Oil, High Oleic Expeller Pressed - 55 Gallon Drums

Our safflower oil is made from high oleic safflower seeds, which makes a special type of oil high in healthy monounsaturated fats (the same kind of good-for-you fat that is in avocados and olive oil).  This oil is expeller pressed without the use of any chemical solvents.  It is refined, which gives it a light color, a mild flavor and a high smoke point making it perfect for frying. 

As a high oleic oil, it is high in monounsaturated fats, which also makes the oil stable at high temperatures and extends the fry life.  This product is Non-GMO Project Verified (view our listing here) and is great for every day use in frying, baking, and cooking.

This oil is packaged in 55 Gallon Drums.  Each drum may come in either a plastic or steel material (based on internal availability), and has a bung hole at the top of the drum used for dispensing.

You can also choose to include an optional Drum Pump ($125 value, not sold separately).  This pump can be re-used on future drums time and time again.  To order, choose the option that includes the pump in drop down above before adding your item to the cart.

All orders are shipped on a freight truck.  Shipping costs are additional and will be custom calculated at checkout.

EQUIPMENT & SPACE REQUIREMENTS: Each drum weighs approximately 500 lbs including both the oil and the packaging. For safety reasons, so you must have either a pallet jack or a fork lift.  The drums are too heavy to lift by hand and can not be easily stored or moved in residential locations, up/down stairs, or through door frames.
